CMA Handgun Intro Course

One-day licensing course for new CMA handgun competitors

This course is the perfect starting point for experienced pistol shooters with safe and solid basic skills who would like to start with competitive CMA sport shooting. You will receive a thorough introduction into the world of dynamic sports shooting according to CMA rules. Afterwards. you will be ready to participate confidently and successfully in your first competition.

The CMA Intro Handgun and the CMA Intro Rifle courses are standardized courses by CMA and are part of the firearms education and licensing concept of the sport.

You will understand and apply the rules of the sport, discover how certain shooting techniques can be effective for you and you will take the CMA handgun skills test.

Doing it is almost the same as talking about it. Just a lot harder and also more satisfying!

​Time Plan
  • One day course

  • Start: 09:00

  • End: 17:30

​Material
  • Eye and ear protection

  • Personal pistol

  • Secure belt holster

  • Minimum 2 spare magazines and pouches

  • Approx. 300 rounds

The equipment should, if possible, already conform to the relevant CMA equipment rules​.
