CMA Swiss Day

The CMA Swiss Day (Schweizer Tag - Journée Suisse) is a yearly match that is held on or around the date of August 1, the Swiss National Day. History puts the founding of Switzerland on August 1, 1291. We commemorate and celebrate the birthday of our nation with a special competition. The stages contain a lot of pick up guns that are traditional Swiss military or similar handguns and rifles. The shooters bring their own handguns to the match but everybody will have to fulfill various shooting tasks with guns like the P75 (SIG P220), Stgw 57, Stgw 90 (SIG 550), K31, P49 (SIG P210). There are also variants of those guns like, for example, the Wyss Stgw 57 "Kommando",  a shortened version of the old army rilfe in the GP11 (7.5x55mm Swiss) caliber. Quality small arms manufacturing and shooting sports have a long tradition in Switzerland and we combine it with the modern Swiss dynamic shooting sport CMA.
